Canton - Soy Sauce Flavor
August 9th, 2005

Canton (now Guangdong) is southern Chinese cuisine, the county’s most disciplined cooking style. Ingredients are usually prepared with a light touch, just enough cooking and seasoning to bring out the natural flavors of foods. In that regard, this entree is really best.
Shoyu (soy) is what you get if you just order ramen in Japan without specifying a flavor. The complex flavor and sweet wonderful aroma of fine soy sauce and cultured bonito in the dashi seafood broth bring out the essence of Japanese flavor for an excellent noodle soup that can stand up over time to be a real favorite.
Both in and out of the package, its premium quality is readily apparent, a very well packaged product. With the favorite noodle texture of Chukazanmai brand, the special deep yellow noodles are air dried.
Cooking Directions
- Bring to boil 2 1/2 cups (600ml) of water.
- Add noodles and simmer 4 minutes, stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and mix in both soup bases into the bowl with noodle and enough water to serve.
