Lobster Flavor (Thin Noodle)
August 27th, 2005

The Hong Kong style noodles in this entree are very thin air dried egg noodles that have a somewhat crunchier texture and work well with this lobster flavored soup sauce. The fineness of this noodle lets out the character of the sauce . While the taste is good, it is not much of a lobster flavor.
The waxed paper cup it come in is popular in Chinese takeouts. It also has a silly little fork for eating. Of all the nutrition labels that I have read, this brand gets 1st prize for listing just the noodle only!
It can be cooked using just a microwave, but you need to be careful or the water will boil over. First add the content of all the packets to the noodle, add water to the line. Leave the cover off and heat it in the microwave until the water just begin to boil, watch it the first time and take note of how long this take for next time. Now cover the cup and wait about 3 minutes before eating.
Cooking Directions
- Open lid, add contents of all soup seasonings into the bowl
- Pour boiling water up to the inside line, close lid and let steep for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove lid, stir well and serve.
