Kasugai Gummy Litchi
September 28th, 2005

Soft round gourmet fruit gummy made with litchi juice and individually wrapped. Each soft delicious gummy has a very fruity cider flavor with a most pleasant ripe litchi aroma. Chewing these delicious gummy brings fond memories. Both the flavor and fragrance is close to the real thing.
This fruit was like heaven to me when I was a child. Breaking open the rough rusty looking outer skin of the Litchi nut is a heavenly fragrant pearly fleshed fruit with the taste of sweet nectar contained within a soft membrane. The flesh itself is too unique to describe well, but it is cool, smooth, silky buoyance and very juicy. They rarely taste that good anymore where I am.
Litchi is a fruit originally grown in Southern China. Grown commercially mostly in Florida and Hawaii, it is rarely seen outside of local or ethnic markets since the fruits have a short season and quickly spoil, beside being expensive.

i love lychee (litchi.. ^^;) and i love gummy stuff, so this was a big deal for me! lychee is probably the sweetest little nut (it is pretty crude looking though!) when you crack open the shell you get this white-ish smooth almost slippery texture, you bite into it and all the sweet juices and flesh just melt in your mouth. . ok so im talkign about these gummies now, they are very good! chewy and very fragrant they resemble the lychee to a T. they taste superb and are convienantly packaged in little wrappers that are prettier and more inviting to eat than the real thing! haha
