The Da Nang style instant Vietnamese vermicelli rice noodle w/crab broth comes with a retort pouch of stewed broth. The flavor of the broth tasted sort of like a clear peppery tomato based clam chowder with lot of cilantro and watercrest. The herb responsible for this unique flavor is Culantro, a.k.a Vietnamese Coriander (Eryngium foetidum L., Apiaceae). A very tasty treat.

Suggested Cooking Directions
  1. Add contents of all packets and add boiling water (~1 cup) to line.
  2. Cover, waits 3 minutes and stir well before serving.

As an Asian who grew up eating the real Bun Rien Cua, I was very skeptical about this instant noodle bowl. It was quite a surprise. It was very tasty. The noodle was good & the broth is almost as good as home made. The real flavor came from the vacuum sealed flavoring pouch. One other bonus is that the noodle is made out of rice and it has almost zero fat content. I definitely would recommend this to any one.
